The goal of My Breeder Plan

Responsible Breeding is up to each and everyone of us Professional Breeders out there. And that is part of the reason why MBP has come into existence.
It was about 3 to 4 years ago when I was investigating software on the market looking for a solid way to track my stock and pedigrees on my computer.  Of course, I came across several forms of it but none of them were just what I wanted.......

I stuck with two different forms of software but since I was a computer guru and typically placed my computer in a constant flux of having to grind it's brain, I would have to totally wipe my hard drive and re-install everything.  Once or twice I lost all my records.
I was a web-designer and really what I wanted was to have it permanently stored in a web-base interface.  Sounds risky but honestly,  what I wanted was no different than what Our online banking system, current medical records for doctors offices and hospital are stored on or even any  form of social media web.  I just wanted a secure system to store my information that would be properly backed up on a regular basis.
I wanted this for myself but I was encouraged to look forward and make a system for others as well. I realized that the goal was to help encourage responsible breeding and not puppy mills.  So that is why I took up this advise and pursued this project.
Puppy Mills and irresponsible breeding and ignoring constant medical issue that pop up in one's line is a real concern for me.  That is why I have put the whole breeding dream down for the moment.  But this idea is still important to me so I am still going to cling onto the whole database system to enable breeders to track their stock much more closely.
We did manage to make a bare bones system with the help of Intregio.  And honestly, for the first attempt, it was really awesome considering I was working with a bunch of guys that had no idea about the breeding business.  Hats off to them!
But marketing was the challenge so I put the idea to bed for a while and tried to re-thing the whole idea.  In the meantime,  I began entertaining ideas of how to add to this system to make it truly unique. Coupled with a little bit of input from other breeders,  I am now in the process of re-modelling the whol database and hope to soon re-launch it  in the the coming few months.
I also plan to incorporate it with a client-side system where Breeders and Clients can communicate closer together and keep each other up to date.  This phase three part of our launch will include an independent records system for the new dog/puppy owner.  More detail will come out as we near the release of this part of the system.
If anyone has any questions on this system, please feel free to contact the website at www.mybreederplan.com or email us at info@mybreederplan.com .
