I had a hug mishap with the website this past weekend. I wanted to learn the latest release of Joomla to see if it had potential with the MBP site. I knew I had room for second installation in my hosting package so I attempted to install Joomla 1.7 into a separate directory.
My only advice.......don't do it when your overtired. Somehow I goofed and it was installed right over top of the existing Joomla 1.5. Therefore, I crashed the entire website.
A hug pat on the back goes out to GoDaddy.com 's support team as they worked with me to help restore the site. At this moment I would say I have had at least 75% of the site restored. That database managed to back up all the important files in the process. But of course many of our graphics were lost for good......including those loaded by our members. Those member who have uploaded some photos and lost them, please feel free to re-upload them. We apologize for this inconvienance. I am taking full blame fore it.
I have a few more bugs to work out before I completely open up the website again. Hopefully by the end of the weekend it will be ready again. I want to thank you for your patience.
