Changes are starting to happen at MBP

Some of you may notice a few subtle changes in the Social Web.

We are doing a little bit of fine tuning to make way for the upcoming launch.  We still don't have an official date......it might be a surprise, lol!  However we have started some housekeeping chores to make this new release happen.

We apologize for our downtime this past week

I had a hug mishap with the website this past weekend.  I wanted to learn the latest release of Joomla to see if it had potential with the MBP site.  I knew I had room for second installation in my hosting package so I attempted to install Joomla 1.7 into a separate directory.

A New Look

Well,  I have been disatisfied with the look of the old template for some time but it seemed to be on the back-burner compared to some more important issues up front. But today, I finally updated the template one last time and I think I am finally satisfied.

MBP eliminated the classifieds for now but we just introduced a group that enables you to advertise any upcoming or available litters for free.
Only one hitch,  You must must be a member in our social hub to post. But as a member you can join many other discussion groups relevant to breeders or even create your own.

My Breeder Plan Family

Happy New Year Everyone,

Hope you all had a wonderful time bringing in the New Year.  Our family sure did with the celebration of two friends uniting in marriage.  It was a wonderful simple evening that ended in a party of family and friends.

On a another positive note, we just want to let you know that we are well on track with the building of the new database system for the revised MBP.

The goal of My Breeder Plan

Responsible Breeding is up to each and everyone of us Professional Breeders out there. And that is part of the reason why MBP has come into existence.
It was about 3 to 4 years ago when I was investigating software on the market looking for a solid way to track my stock and pedigrees on my computer.  Of course, I came across several forms of it but none of them were just what I wanted.......

A Re-cap of the Old Web based kennel management system

For those of you who are new to MBP, three years ago we started out to build a system for breeders that would be a little safer than the average gruelling software available on the market to assist breeders with the more consuming points of running their breeding kennel.
The problem existed when computer crashes would cause the breeders to loose all their data.  Hey, even I experienced this......Actually especially me! Since I am a web-designer, graphics designer and software advisor, I often send my computer into extreme working conditions where I use and unusual amount of resource power.  To make six months before a complete windows re-installation, I would actually think I was doing well.
Therefore, I went in search of a new way to keep my records and why not make it affordable for all breeders
